He is a Saudi Arabian national and a graduate of King Faisal University, Dammam and holds fellowship from same university, completed his fellowship in Corneal Diseases at King Khalid Eye Specialist Hospital; presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology of King Faisal University; has published several scientific papers and participated in several seminars and conferences at national and international level.
He is very active in prevention of blindness program that is conducted in 35 different countries. His work in this field is recognized by professional and social welfare organizations of international standing. He is recipient of national and international awards; has made notworthy contribution to the Foundation both in its establishment and activities. He is a founding member of Isra Islamic Foundation.
