MBBS, DA, Ph.D
He received his MBBS in 1972 from Liaquat Medical College , Hyderabad and D.A, R.C.S, R.C.P in 1979 from U.K. He also received Master's and Ph.D in Acupuncture from World Institute of Acupuncture Singapore in 1983 and 1986 respectively. He has worked as anesthetist for three years in Regional Hospital , Galway Ireland , where he was also responsible for training of House Officer in Western Health Board. Later on as he worked as anesthetist over period of fifteen years in King Abdul Aziz University Hospital, Jeddah and Security Forces Hospital Riyadh Saudi Arabia. His main interest is in alternative therapies for pain relief. He was the incharge of a very busy pain clinic at S.F.H before joining Isra University Hospital . He is pioneer in establishing epidural service for painless delivery at Hyderabad and is also incharge of intensive care unit at Isra University Hospital . He has published around fifteen articles and presented many papers at international level in his field. Presently he is holding position as Director of Isra University Hospital. He is also Founding member of the Foundation and currently serving on the Board of Directors of Isra Islamic Foundation.
